POWERELASTIK ADHESIVE FOR DECORATIVE AND FACADE STONE TILES
POWERELASTIK – dispersion adhesive in the form of a thick paste, applied in thin layers (approx. 2 – 3
mm), flexible, high bonding strength, multi-purpose, for indoor and outdoor use. The product is not suitable for applications where the adhesive layer is thicker than 4 mm. Will not stain natural stone. Frost-proof and waterproof.
Bonding of decorative stone and concrete, gypsum, clinker and ceramic tiles on walls and floors. The substrate may be concrete, cement and anhydrite floors, aerated concrete, bricks, cement and cement/lime plaster, drywall, rigid chipboard and OSB.
The surface must be fully cured, rm, clean and dry, free from any insulating layers. Unstable layers with insucient adhesion must be removed. Concrete substrates must be
at least 6 months old, plasters and cement screeds at least 4 weeks old, and anhydrite screeds at least 2 weeks old.
Anhydrite screeds must be sanded and dusted. Chipboard and OSB-boards must be sanded and thoroughly dusted.
Prime the surface with an appropriate STEGU GRUNT primer.
PREPARATION OF THE ADHESIVE:
POWERELASTIK adhesive is ready to use after opening the bucket. Stir the product well in the container.
Apply the adhesive directly on the substrate or tile with a notched trowel with notch depth up to 4 mm, held at an angle of 45°-60° to the substrate/tile. Press the tile against the substrate while moving it to the sides or up and down until excess adhesive ows out. Apply the adhesive on the entire surface of the tile or substrate.
Storage time at temperatures above +5 °C and not higher than +25 °C, in factory sealed buckets: 12 months from the manufacturing date printed on the cover.

• Full curing time 7 days.
May cause an allergic reaction: Contains a post-reaction mixture of 5-chloro-2-methyl-2H-isothiazol- 3-one and 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one (3:1); 4,5-dichloro-2-octyl-2H-isothiazol- 3-one.
